Graham Priest has held chairs of philosophy in Australia, the UK, and the United States, as well as many visiting positions at universities in countries in Europe and Asia. He is currently Distinguished Professor at Tohoku University (Japan), Visiting Chair Professor at the Shandong University (China), and Boyce Gibson Professor Emeritus at Melbourne University (Australia). Heinrich Wansing is a professor of Logic and Epistemology at the Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany) and Distinguished Professor at Tohoku University (Japan). Before that he was a professor of Philosophy of Science and Logic at Dresden University of Technology (1999-2010). He is the author of /The Logic of Information Structures/ (1993), /Displaying Modal Logic/ (1998), /Truth and Falsehood. An Inquiry into Generalized Logical Values/ (with Y. Shramko, 2011), /Proof-Theory of N4-related Paraconsistent Logics/ (with N. Kamide, 2015) and numerous articles in professional journals. Heinrich Wansing has been working mainly on philosophical logic, including the semantics and proof theory of modal, constructive, paraconsistent, many-valued, and other non-classical logics. Moreover, he is the editor-in-chief of the book series /Trends in Logic/ (Springer) and a managing editor of the journal /Studia Logica/.

Nils Kürbis is university professor in the Department of Logic and Methodology of the University of Lódz. Before that, he was akademischer Oberrat and Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow, hosted by Heinrich Wansing, in the Department of Philosophy I of Ruhr University Bochum, where he continues being Privatdozent. Even before he held appointments at universities in the UK, mostly in London, where he obtained his PhD at King's College and remains an honorary research associate at UCL. He has published widely in formal and philosophical logic, mostly in relation to philosophical questions relating to proof theory and proof-theoretic semantics. His work includes negation, denial and falsity, modality and definite descriptions, much of the latter as a member of the team of Andrzej Indrzejcak's ERC Advanced Grant 'ExtenDD - Coming to Terms' (project number: 101054714). He also has historical interests, in particular in Plato's dialogues and in the works of Frege, Russell, the early Moore and the history of analytic philosophy.
