5 October 1977) is a Northern Irish semi-professional footballer who
currently plays as a striker for Coleraine. Tolan began playing for
Cliftonville in the middle of the 1990s, making his Irish League debut
against Coleraine in November 1996. Under manager Marty Quinn, Tolan was
a member of the Cliftonville team to which Quinn brought success to.
They won the County Antrim Shield, The Coca-Cola Cup and brought the
Irish League to Solitude after finished in front of favourites Linfield
and taking the trophy from their bitter rivals Crusaders F.C.. Tolan
became one of Cliftonville's top players that season, he then left and
rejoined Quinn at Coleraine F.C.
