Poetry is the foundation of the Threads Project, in which textile artists respond to poems. In this collection, we reach beyond the poems of the exhibition at the Ukrainian Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago to showcase the work of the poets featured. The poems in this book represent larger bodies of work, showing their range and diversity. Poets include Pichchenda Bao, Rosebud Ben-Oni, Sherese Francis, Ananda Lima, Floraime Oliveros Pantaleta, Wanda Phipps, and Serhiy Zhadan (translated by Virlana Tkacz and Wanda Phipps.)
