John Wilson is an archeologist, historical researcher, and more recently an author, now retired after ten years with a state museum and another twenty-eight years contracting for clients that included utility companies, mining and engineering firms, Native American nations, and several state and federal agencies. He was born in Illinois and is a graduate of both the University of Illinois and Harvard University. His most recent publications include two anthologies: New Mexico Episodes and Arizona Across 400 Years. He lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with his wife Cheryl.
