Set in the 1950s, The Reincarnation of Bobby Johnson tells the tragic story of slavery, murder, rape, and all other forms of abuse which plagued an entire generation for a family from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The story describes how justice is observed, served and kept through a series unfortunate events involving the family. Faith and hope are the family's weapons against struggle and adversity. The family is rewarded with fortune, after the death of a kind-hearted woman who left all her wealth to them. Though living life to the fullest with those unimaginable blessings, the family was haunted with a tragic past. Despite all that is happening, they continue to live by the grace of God, develop a stronger family bond, and are able to accept what life has to offer them. The story expresses pain and suffering, courage to survive, surpassing trials and facing the devastating events in life caused by human nature.
