This study has been reviewed the recent advances of laser diode and the control on its temperature by thermoelectric cooler in thermal management of laser diode, spray cooling, miniaturized scale micro-channel, micro heat-pipe, This cooling frameworks have point of interest in advantages for this devices, laser diode have compact in size, light in weight, little size, high unwavering quality, no mechanical moving parts, being powered by direct current, and easily switching, In this study concentrated on cooling strategies that used to cool the laser diode. Next, demonstrated the challenges are described in an attempt to provide cooling methods to disseminate the high heat flux from the laser diode that had low maintenance and straightforwardness to joining the improvement, at last, exhibited the variety in heat transfer coefficient and the temperature control in laser diode and to keep up on its substrate temperature.
