He was a contributor to both the Rough Guide to Skiing and Snowboarding in North America and the Rough Guide to the Rocky Mountains. He is a committee member of the Outdoor Writers' Guild (www.owg.org.uk), the UK's best-established organization of professional outdoor and travel writers.
