Tabby is a very ordinary sort of a boy who doesn't fit in well into his middle class, aspirational family. He prefers the company of his friends, Emma and Dave, and his grandfather, Fred. Tabby's world is turned upside down when he discovered he could talk to cats and understand them. Asked by the cats of the town to undertake a mission to get the last Wildcat in England up to Scotland to find a mate, he recruits the help of Dave, Emma and grandfather Fred. Can they prove themselves to the cats and complete their mission? Who is the mysterious and dangerous Gamekeeper who is trying to stop them?
