Julia McConnell is a poet and a librarian in Oklahoma City. She's earned a B.A. in English and a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Oklahoma. Julia's work has appeared in This Land Press, Blood and Thunder, Elegant Rage: A Poetic Tribute to Woody Guthrie, Ain't Nobody That Can Sing Like Me: New Oklahoma Writing, and Oklahoma Poems... and Their Poets. A lifelong Okie, Julia can be seen in her boots stomping through the red dirt with her Jack Russell Terrier, Molly Marlova Magdalena McConnell.
