Dr. Will Tuttle and his spouse Madeleine are currently based in California, and travel extensively, both worldwide and also in their solar-paneled "rolling home," presenting lectures, retreats, workshops, and concerts through colleges and university groups, progressive churches, conferences, spiritual gatherings, and for yoga, meditation, vegetarian, environmental, peace, and social justice communities. Will is the author of the #1 Amazon best-selling book The World Peace Diet and other books, and is a recipient of The Peace Abbey's Courage of Conscience Award. Devoted to cultural healing and awakening, he is a Dharma Master in the Zen tradition, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, focused on educating intuition and altruism in adults. He has taught college courses in creativity, humanities, mythology, religion, and philosophy, and has created about a dozen albums of uplifting original piano music and guided meditations. He is noted for his clear and inspiring presentations, which often include evocative animal paintings by Madeleine, a visionary artist from Switzerland. Growing up in Switzerland, Madeleine began her life-long exploration of the many varieties of artistic expression, and eventually deepened her study of art through education in England, Switzerland, and the U.S. that led to her becoming a Waldorf teacher. Formal studies of ink brush painting in Japan contribute a Zen spirit to her unique watercolor style. Her art is strongly influenced by her extensive travels covering six continents, as well as her love of nature, gardening, clothing design, and many handcrafts. Madeleine and Will met in 1990 in Switzerland, and they have been married and working together for 25 years. Madeleine's watercolors have been exhibited in Europe, Asia, and North America. Besides painting her original works as prints, cards, covers, and individual intuitive portraits, she also collaborates with Will musically, playing the silver flute. In 2005, Dr. Tuttle published his ground-breaking book, The World Peace Diet, now published in 16 languages, the first book to provide a fully comprehensive understanding of the consequences of animal agriculture. He is the editor of Circles of Compassion, a book of essays connecting social justice issues, and author of Your Inner Islands, on the keys to developing spiritual intuition.
