Philippa Semper is an English lecturer at the University of Birmingham in the UK. Her work focuses on Old English language and literature; and she also writes about and teaches modern fantasy literature and its relationships with medieval texts. Ramsey Campbell has been given more awards than any other writer in the field, including the Grand Master Award of the World Horror Convention, the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Horror Writers Association, the Living Legend Award of the International Horror Guild and the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Leah Cypess is the author of four young adult fantasy novels, starting with Mistwood (HarperCollins 2010). Her middle grade debut, Thornwood, about Sleeping Beauty's little sister, is scheduled to be published by Random House in 2021. She is also the author of short fiction published in Asimov's Science Fiction and the Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, among other places. Leah is originally from New York City and now lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her family. |
