This book is an attempt to face honestly the issues that are divisive among Christians. Unless we are able to face and resolve divisive issues we will do continuing damage to the witness of Christianity. Some of the issues will be difficult for us to face thus the question, "Can we deal with the truth?" This is an attempt to take a positive step toward openness and acceptance toward one another. This book takes a step toward focus on the issues that matter most in Christian life. In other words the focus is on Jesus, His life and His teaching. The message is that we need to cease debating and begin to focus on relating. Don't debate. Relate. Relate to Jesus and through Him to one another.
