Terry Thompson-Anderson is the author of nine previous cookbooks, including Texas on the Table: People, Places, and Recipes Celebrating the Flavors of the Lone Star State, which was a finalist for the 2015 James Beard Book Award for American Cooking. Sandy Wilson is a longtime member of the American Society of Media Photographers. She was the photographer for Texas on the Table, as well as other books about the food, growers, and restaurants of Texas.
